Cross in the Sky

I Corinthians 15:51 & 52 NIV

“Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed – in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet, for the “trumpet will sound.”

Faith is like a seashell…
That is washed in the heart…
A promise that is heard…
And never will depart…

It is by faith that we see the unseen, and know the unknown.  The faith to believe that this life here on earth, is not all there is.  We are only here for a short time, our spirits cannot remain here forever.  Our forever is with Jesus Christ, our Savior.

Can we see the stars during the daylight?  Can we see the moon behind the clouds?  Even though we cannot see them, we know they are there.  We cannot see our brains unless a neurosurgeon provides surgery, yet we know we have one.  Have you ever seen your heart?  We can hear it, just like we can hear God when we are silent enough.  That is faith…a promise that is heard, and never will depart.

In Florida, it is known that due to the weather systems, there are hurricanes  available in each year.  They even have a start and stop day as to the possibilities. It is not just Florida, the threat encompasses all of the Gulf of Mexico States and countries, and even along the Atlantic perimeters up to Canada along the sea-coast.  So, during each year, people take in a deep breath, add to their supplies with additional water and food “just in case”.  During a conversation with these folks of the ensuing area, they will tell you they have purchased not only home insurance, but flood insurance as well.  If you were to ask why, their response would be; it is not a matter of “if”…but a matter of “when”.

Matthew 24:30 &31 NIV

“At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn.  They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory.  And He will send His angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.”

You see!  Jesus is returning soon; this is not a matter of “IF”…but a matter of “WHEN”!  So, prepare as He has given us a list.  His purpose in our lives, is to Love one another as He Loves us.  In sharing His Love, you will share His Story of the Gospel, because, He lives within you.
